Open Christian University is a transnational provider of Christian higher education, formed under the laws of the United States as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt religious corporation. In South Africa, the Open Christian University has been working in partnership with Open Christian Ministries and local stakeholders since 2019 until it is fully registered as a private non-profit organization with local regulations in 2022.
As an educational institution rooted in Christ, we encourage all Christian believers to obey their authority and abide by the regulations their masters have put in place for good intentions, not just in name change but in everything, because this is what is worthy of us. We take Christ as our model, and we strive to step into His feet.

The foundational competence entails concepts and theoretical grasp of information, communication and presentation of those concepts and theories and the development of communication skills.
